About the event

More than two years has now passed since the Scottish Government accepted the majority of recommendations made by the Commission on Women Offenders. Holyrood's Female Offenders: Intervention and Support conference will examine to what extent these recommendations have been met and discuss some of the major changes that have taken place as result of the Commission.

Why you should attend

Attending this conference will enable delegates to:

  • Learn what progress has been made in meeting the recommendations from the Commission on Women Offenders.
  • Discuss the latest initiatives designed to provide better support to females offenders and their families.

An excellent day with lots of information and identification of how much work there is to be done to reduce the numbers of women in prison.
